Ashburton Wedding - Coniston Chapel Wedding - Nicole & Steven Wedding 02/02/13

Hi There,

Nicole & Steven were married at the lovely Coniston Chapel, Ashburton on Saturday 2nd February 2013

After the Wedding Ceremony I did a group photo then the family photos before we head off to do the Bridal Party Photos.

We did some photo around Coniston Homestead Gardens first then off to The Plains Museum, Ashburton.

The Wedding Reception & Wedding Breakfast held at Hotel Ashburton.

I covered the Speeches first then I got the Mock Cutting of the cake Photo before I finished up.

Kaiapoi Wedding, Christchurch Weddings - Anna & Brian Wedding 19/01/13

Hi There,

Anna & Brian were married at 3.00pm in lovely gardens of a family friend in Kaiapoi.

Anna arrived on time in White Vintage Limo. It was a bright sunny day and after the wedding ceremony Star Photographer Dean Norrie got a group shot of everyone before the family photos.

We did some of the Bridal Party Photos at the Kaiapoi Rose Gardens and Band Rotunda and then over to the river by the Tuhoe.

The Wedding Breakfast and Reception was being held at the same lovely location.

I got the mock Cutting of the Cake before I finished up (Cake was made by M/C Dave from Fiddle Sticks Restaurant, Christchurch)

Being a Daddy Photographer for the first time - first year in reflection - Our beautiful Grace turns 1 tomorrow 15/1/13

Hi There,

Our little Girl Grace turns 1 tomorrow and what an amazing year its been. She was born at 11.30am Sunday 15th January 2012 at Christchurch Women's Hospital and then on to Burwood Birthing Unit for the recovery for 3 nights. {Sarah went into labour at about 9.30pm on the 14th, I was only home 30 minutes from a wedding I was photographing that day. I took her to hospital at about 3am}

Our Midwife Dawn Catherwood was great she was so helpful and really informative.

Grace Pamela Norrie Weigh in at 7lb.9oz, 50 cm long, Beautiful and Healthy!

So being a Daddy Photographer has had its challenges not just because of being a dad for the first time but of expectations to take lovely photos of the family and baby al the time, you know the Builders house is never finished and the Mechanic's car is never going!

Being a star photographer and proud Father I decided to except the challenge and pushed myself to capture images of lifes most amazing milestones of having a baby for the first year.

I really can't express in words the feeling of the love of being a Dad - its just Awesome!

To celebrate her 1st Birthday we did a CAKE SMASH in the studio last week
