Sarah Johnson (Nurse) & I (Dean Norrie a professional wedding photographer at Star Photographers Ltd) were Married at St Barnabas Church at 2pm on the 25th September 2010 by Reverend Philip Robinson, the Ceremony was just amazing we had our Miniature Schnauzer Ceazer dressed in a Tux and walked down the Isle by our Flower Girl Jenaya to Opera Music by 2 Mezzo Soprano Singers (Donna Ally & Leisa Falconer) singing the Flower Duet. We had a Dove Release at the end of the service symbolizing peace, faithfulness and devotion with the magical sounds of a solo Bag Piper (Stuart Wood) playing Amazing Grace in the back ground. We then went Punting on the Avon River at the Antigua Boat Shed and did all the Bridal party photo's at our favourite place the Christchurch Art Centre. Ilam Homestead for the Reception and Wedding Breakfast, dinner served by White Tie catering. The day was just wonderful, we had so much fun! the day just flew by, we are so glad we got Geoff from Bride & Groom films to Video the whole day for us! So now we can re-live it all again and again. For the first dance I sung to Sarah, It Had To Be You backed by Michael Bell's Jazz Trio - Piano, Double Bass and Trumpet. The Church & Reception venue were only cleared 7 days before our wedding day - after the 4th September Earthquake Lucky you, lucky me.
